IGS Sponsors Chicago
Pinpoint Media's upcoming Chicago edition of "Crime Stoppers Case Files" received a big boost when Dublin, OH-based IGS Energy signed on as the program's first sponsor. IGS supplies natural gas and electricity to the Chicago market. The program is tentatively scheduled to begin airing in September, 2012. A decision regarding the program's television home (station) will be announced in June.
CBS Renews Miami, Los Angeles Crime Programs
Miami/Los Angeles: CBS Television is renewing the Miami and Los Angeles editions of the popular crime-fighting television show "Crime Stoppers Case Files". The program airs in Miami on WBFS MY-33 Saturday evenings at 10, and on WFOR CBS-4 Sundays at noon. It airs in Los Angeles on KCAL-9, Saturday nights at 11:30.
Pinpoint Wins 4th EMMY
Ft. Lauderdale: NATAS, the National Association of Television Arts and Sciences, Sun Coast Chapter, recognized Pinpoint Media's lead editor, Brandon Kimber, with an Emmy award in the "Editing-Program" category, for his work on "Crime Stoppers Case Files: South Florida." Brandon was recognized for weaving actual crime footage with a reenactment. See the footage here.
